I've seen you looking at those new bikinis, and sighing. The winter has been harsh and you found you had take out more often than you should. Been there and done that. But NOW is the time to take some action.
A little background here. Obesity (that's being overweight to you and I) is the number 2 killer of folks each year. Tobacco being number 1. Now that is scary. I just want to look great in a swimsuit but did not realize that I could also save my life with looking good!

Losing weight is not rocket science and we all know it, we just need some hints. You and I know we have to lower our food intake and get some more exercise. Its a balance. Less food in plus activity increased should equal weight loss. Now, because you want to look good in that bikini you need to find something that is both effective for you and also fun so that you will stick to it.
Lets start with diets. There are a million of them out there and I personally feel I have tried most of them! There is the 500 calorie diet- quite dangerous as your body will go into starvation mode on this one. There is a cider vinegar diet, now can you really see yourself drinking vinegar with meals?
The diet that you finally chose has to be balanced with an larger portion of vegetables and lean fish, poultry and meats. Your body does need calcium so feel free to have fat free yogurts etc. There are tons of products on the market to help you stay on your diets, for example the low fat ice creams and sugar free treats. Beware of "miracle pills" and programs that promise the moon and deliver nothing. You are bright and intelligent, you know what you want and how to get it. Now, before you get into that new bathing suits, lets tone up a bit.
Exercise should be fun or you will not do it. Walking and some specific target exercises are the best. You do not need to spend your weeks salary on gym equipment just to get some exercise. You also do not need to join a gym unless you actually want to.
Just remember the basics here, lower the amount of food you take in and increase the activities you do and in a short space of time you will be able to put that bikini on and listen to the whoops and catcalls from the guys at the beach. You really can do it, I have faith in you!
